Glow

Epilation

Epilation is a recognized and effective treatment method for permanent hair removal. At Care by Claire we use Du Lac, which is both effective and gentle. With epilation, we can permanently remove your unwanted hair – whether it is dark, light or gray, on all skin colors and all skin types. When we treat with Du Lac, we insert a thin disposable needle into the hair follicle, after which the needle emits high-frequency current for a short moment. The current destroys the capillaries, so that the hair roots no longer receive sufficient nutrition to grow. To achieve the best results, it is important to repeat the process with decreasing intensity over a period of time. The process can take from weeks to up to a year, with fewer and fewer treatments.

It is important that you do not shave or scrape unwanted hair for about a month before the treatment, but you are welcome to cut it. We see very positive results with clients who follow the treatment plan. The treatment is effective and the side effects are minimal. Redness and swelling may occur on the first day. After three days, it is normal for small red spots to appear in the treated skin area. Therefore, it is a good idea to use products while you are undergoing treatment. After a week, the skin is usually back to normal.

Du’Lac is an electrocosmetic treatment that provides visible results immediately. The method was developed by Johanna Lack and has been used internationally for over 30 years. With Du’Lac treatments, we can reduce and in some cases remove beauty spots, broken blood vessels, skin tags, pigment and liver spots, milia, spider veins and fibroids. For best results, you should avoid using products containing acids, perfumes, alcohol and dyes after the treatment. We recommend using our vitamin E ampoule for up to one month after the treatment. The treatment is targeted at those with sensitive and delicate skin. Clean Up is a mask for oily skin with open pores. It is also good for hypersensitive skin with broken capillaries, eczema and rosacea. The treatments give the best results when you take a course. Here you get a facial cleansing, peeling, mask, massage and cream. Teenagers with dry and very irritated skin can also tolerate this treatment.
